Thanks so much for all the feedback! Especially around the design and how the pieces of the game gel or don't gel together. Gonna sit with it and aim to make my next game even better! o7
Like others have said, it's a cool idea with the multitasking that doesn't really function. Dodging obstacles didn't seem to matter, and I was able to spam the max segment, which I opted to do since there wasn't feedback on whether picking one option or another was going to be effective ahead of time. Needs a bit more work to get the concept there, but I can see the vision.
Interesting idea of multitasking, but it isn't really working.
But just spamming the max segment on each options works perefectly and there isn't really any feedback about how the clients would react to a decision.
Also, the parkouring at the bottom didn't seem to have any impact on the game, but I did like it as an idea. Just walking through the obstacles seemed ok.
The character art is cool. The idea is nice. If this would be reworked, it could be a fun game.
Fun concept of multitasking! Although I share opinions of others that some way to tell what segments are positive/negative would be an improvement. Regardless, I enjoyed it a lot :)
I think I can see the vision, but it's a bit far away from something workable as is. Great that you got something made and submitted, but really could have used *something* to convey to the player feedback as to whether a segment was positive or negative *before* selecting it. If there was some means of parsing the text around the character portrait as a key for what interactions they'd favor, I was unable to discern it
Furthermore, the endless-running didn't seem to have any effect on the game, and I'm not entirely sure I would have liked it more if it did. Getting myself to understand and paying attention to one thing is often hard enough :P adding two unrelated tasks to multi-task on can be a tough order to get enjoyable.
Regardless, submitting something alone is a success, so it's good that you got something made <3
Decent character art and a good buy/sell concept, but a quite a bit of unfinished work. Would've been cool to see a finished version!
