Blood and Roots
He walks along a dark path, gathering what must be bonded to root and soil. A creature awaits in silence, suspended between dream and dread, demanding to be awakened.
But is it truly life that calls, or only desire wearing the mask of ineluctability? How far can one go, how much can be offered, to see it rise at the height of beauty, strength, and triumph?
The roots are calling, deep and unrelenting-
and only man can answer.
