Sarah Gordon is a British artist and textile designer working from her coastal home studio surrounded by nature on Bainbridge Island, WA. She is known for her curious, contemporary artwork that brings together botanicals, insects, birds and other natural elements. Her bold incorporation of contrasting color and mark making is influenced by the simplicity of modern art and her love for quirky antique botanical illustrations creating a unique view into nature. Much of her inspiration comes from daily walks at local trails and beaches where she collects found 'treasures’ for painting studies. She is drawn to natural imperfections and subtle details such as tangled stems and delicate markings from seasonal changes which spark new ideas for color, textures and patterns.

Creativity runs in Emily Schoen’s family—her mother is a ceramic artist, and her grandfather was a stained-glass artist—so a love for art and design came naturally to her. She began by endlessly rearranging her childhood bedroom and later honed her eye while working alongside her mentor, Michelle Adams, studying great designers, and traveling to beautiful places. Today, Emily is putting much of this knowledge to work while renovating an 1830s Greek Revival home with her husband and son. She believes that art adds the most important layer to any space—it’s the soul of a room.

Krista Kim is a fine artist based in North Idaho, where she lives with her husband and young daughter on a small farm. After working in emergency medicine and walking through a long season of infertility, Krista turned to painting as a way to process grief and rediscover beauty in the everyday. What began as a quiet personal practice quickly grew into a full-time art business. Her work is deeply influenced by her surroundings — slow country living, the shifting of seasons, and the pursuit of a more intentional life.
