Hi there This year I’m aiming to raise $2,500 to help Charlies Foundation For Research by jumping in to swim solo to Rottnest in February 2026. This is my second year of fundraising and any donations, large or small, will be gratefully received to help important medical research and provide improved patient care. My training is well underway and I’ve got my goggles ready! Through many kind donations last year, we raised an amazing $3,008 towards a Bright Ideas grant for emerging researchers through my 2025 solo attempt in February 2025. I made it 15km… and then the current and swell hit me. I’m hopeful that this year for round two and with a heap of solid training under my belt that I’ll smash it out and we can raise further funds to support the Foundation and this great initiative.
