James is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2025 to raise funds for Teenage Cancer Trust, honouring the memory of his mum, Claire, who bravely battled cancer.

Having experienced firsthand the impact cancer had on his family, James is determined to support young people facing similar challenges. As the Team Leader for Lancaster University’s Kilimanjaro Trek 2025, he has rallied fellow students and Army Reservists to take on this immense challenge. Through fundraising and awareness, James is turning personal loss into a powerful mission of hope, resilience, and support.
