About:
Brother Hai's Pho Restaurant is a story-driven horror game insprired by Vietnamese culture and real events, made with Godot Engine. The game offers glimpses into everyday Vietnamese life that you don't typically see in the media.
Tiệm Phở của Anh Hai là một tựa game kinh dị đậm chất cốt truyện, được truyền cảm hứng từ văn hóa và các sự kiện có thật tại Việt Nam, phát triển bằng Godot Engine. Trò chơi tái hiện một số hình ảnh về cuộc sống thường nhật ở Việt Nam.
Story:
Step into the shoes of Anh Hai, a new pho restaurant owner in a seemingly peaceful village in Dan Phuong District, Hanoi. Starting with the simple business of selling pho and socializing with the locals, Anh Hai gradually uncovers a dark mystery shrouding the village. To keep his restaurant running and survive, Anh Hai must confront unexpected events and his own haunting past.
Vào vai Anh Hai, một chủ tiệm phở mới khai trương tại ngôi làng tưởng chừng yên bình thuộc huyện Đan Phượng, Hà Nội. Bắt đầu bằng công việc kinh doanh bình dị và giao lưu với những người dân địa phương, Anh Hai dần nhận ra một bí ẩn đen tối đang bao trùm ngôi làng. Để tiếp tục giữ lửa cho tiệm phở và sinh tồn, Anh Hai buộc phải đối mặt với những biến cố bất ngờ và quá khứ đầy ám ảnh của chính mình.

Install instructions
PC (Windows/Linux/macOS):
Unzip the .rar file, make sure there are 2 files: one is the executable file (the game file) and the .pck file (the resource file) and both in the same folder.
For macOS, you might need to ignore Gatekeeper's warning in order to run the game. The .zip file is uploaded on MEGA. If you download .rar file you will need third-party app to extract it.
Mobile (Android):
- Link 1: If you download .rar file from direct link from your Android phone, your phone might need a third-party app to open/extract .rar file in order to obtain and install the .apk file. For example,
- Link 2: This link is directed to the .apk file I shared on the MediaFire, you can just download it and install it right away
Note that your phone might block suspicious .apk files from being installed to your phone.
PS: This is a beta version for Android I exported thanks to many requests from mobile players, so there are still a few problems in the game.

This was an amazingly wild ride from start to finish!
It feels super nostalgic in some ways--like I'm watching an old martial arts movie. The characters were zany and gave me many a laugh. The dialogue also had me giggling. Overall, a really fun game!

Hiii ! my game doesn't seem to work and everytime I try to launch it, it lags with a black screen not only on the menu, but also in the gamaplay..idk if it's my pc the problem but yeah..

Yes I'm plugging my video, but holy cow!! This game was a breath of fresh air. Just pure fun and story writing. This game was freaking epic!! Reminded me of how games used to be. We definitely need a part 2.

Does anyone know the password for the .rar file for Android ?
There is NO password. However you might need to use a third-party app from Google Play Store to open the. rar file on Android.
If you see a password when opening .rar file on Android, then there must be a access problem with the app you're using.

An excellent game. Firstly, of the few Vietnamese horror games out there, this is definitely the best. And overall, it's one of the best horror games in recent memory. Of course, as a seasoned streamer, this didn't particularly scare me; there aren't enough jump scares here. But that's not the main thing. The plot is what really grabs me. It's incredibly epic, even if it's not entirely clear right now, and it's fascinating to watch it unfold. The unexpected twists work really well (especially the ending), and I enjoyed the hilarious moments like the chase on the bridge. As a pho cooking simulator at a roadside cafe, it also conveys the vibe well; the game is atmospheric. Even though I've never been to Vietnam. But it's nice that the creator cares about its culture and carefully reflected it in the plot. There are a lot of different references, which is nice. Of course, there are some inaccuracies, like the old man asking for 10,000 change instead of 5,000, which is odd, and the fact that one of the customers (I think the Exciter) asked for pho with raw beef, but the order actually included balls, which is inaccurate. However, I didn't encounter any major bugs and didn't fall off the map (although the author anticipated this, which was also surprising). Overall, yes, the game isn't without its flaws, but they can't overshadow the many positives and funny moments. It's worth it, and I wish the author continued success.
