What happens when opportunity meets preparation? At Purple Woman 3.0, we witnessed the answer firsthand. Over three transformative days, 100 women came together to learn practical, in-demand skills, from Human Resources and Data Analysis, to Digital Marketing, Personal Finance, UX/UI Design, Software Engineering, and Product Management. But learning was just the beginning. Ten exceptional participants secured internship placements with PalmPay, stepping directly into hands-on training and mentorship that will help launch their careers. The program concluded on Saturday, March 7, 2026, with an inspiring closing ceremony featuring industry leaders Kemi Okusanya, CEO, Hydrogen; Dr. Nneka Okekearu, Director, Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University; Foluso Aduloju , Harriet Kariuki , and Nneka Umeh, Director, West Africa Account Management, Mastercard, sharing practical resources to support continued growth. Moments like these remind us why initiatives like Purple Woman matter: when women are equipped with the right skills and opportunities, the ripple effects reach far beyond the classroom. In the spirit of International Women’s Day, we celebrate empowering more women for greater inclusion in tech. When we provide knowledge and opportunity, we gain representation. We’re proud of what we accomplished together, and we can’t wait to do even more in the next edition. Check out our 10 new interns on the last slide. Congratulations to everyone who made Purple Woman 3.0 a success. #IWD #PalmPayPurpleWoman
