War on Water

War on Water is a short-session, top-down auto-shooter where you play as a fire elemental fighting to survive against escalating waves of water enemies.

Currently each run lasts around 5 minutes. You move, the game attacks for you.

Survive long enough, grow stronger, and face the final boss before you’re overwhelmed.

You control Logi, a fire-born warrior sent to stop a rising water god from extinguishing all flame. Starting weak, you build power quickly by collecting XP and choosing upgrades as you level up. Every decision shapes your run.

The focus is simple:

  • Stay alive
  • Keep moving
  • Choose upgrades that work together

As the run progresses, enemy numbers increase, attack patterns become harder to avoid, and the screen fills with chaos. Success comes from positioning, quick decisions, and adapting to pressure.

About the Project
War on Water is a student project currently in development. The earlier build represents a prototype focused on core gameplay and player experience that received 100% possible marks and a high distinction.

Note
A browser version is included for quick access, but some visual effects don’t display correctly due to shader limitations.

For the full experience, it’s best to download and play the game locally.
