A ME-OS game I've been working on in secret is now out on Newgrounds! Here's Dieda Royale!

I've started working on this game in November, and only ended up releasing it one day later than I wanted to! It's meant to be a spoof on a few different things, but stylistically it was mainly spoofing the Adobe Shockwave games I played in the mid 2000s. I wanted it to be funny, goofy, and also replayable and interesting. So I really hope you like it! The development on this game was chaotic and hectic, but very determined. I knew I wanted to make some kind of new years themed game, and I knew I wanted to use some of my older characters... so why not use Dieda who I've made all the way back on December 24th 2008? His whole style and a lot of things about him really fit the new years idea I kinda had, so it felt like a perfect choice. I actually redrew him recently, too!

Some of the things that made this game so special was that it is the first "real" 3D game in the Zelomedia Splash collection, it gave me the chance to make more originals for ME-OS, it is the first ME-OS game to have local split screen, and even the first game fully made to work with the new translation framework coming to the next ME-OS version! It was a milestone for many things really, so I hope you get to enjoy!

And now the other other stuff! The bloggy kind!

I kind of probably looked like I disappeared for half a year, and I kind of did in a way? September through December (including right now) have just been very busy with all kinds of things, mostly personal (nothing bad thankfully), and they were real time killers. I was also really focused on the wiki push, making sure every single creature I could find a doodle of from the age of 5 onwards was found and drawn, and put on the wiki! It felt very rewarding to finish all the new art (for now), but it was definitely very exhausting lol. I'd pretty much have days where I'd wake up, spend the whole day drawing, and then go to bed. I actually started uploading all of them on Newgrounds, and will keep probably uploading them for a while because I have lots to get through!

I've generally been pretty stressed out from all the things I'm doing at once, but it's okay, I kind of got used to the heavier workload and I think things will get a little lighter from now on. I just know that all the things I'm working on are building up to something really nice in the future, so it's totally worth it! It just also sucks that I got really sick right before releasing the Dieda Royale game, as even after the stupid achey stuff went away, I spend all night coughing (and idk if I slept lol, I'm very sorry if there are bugs or other things I missed!!) but I'm hoping it'll at least go away before my birthday on the 25th because I want to eat lots of chocolate cake without my throat feeling dumb lol.

My business also probably explains why I haven't been reviewing and looking at stuff here as much lately, and I know I keep saying I want to get back into it more, but I'll at least try to today and the next few days as my priorities shift. I really wanna listen to a bunch of music I missed out on, and ever since I started uploading to the art portal, I'd also love to check out more art! I really appreciate everyone who stuck with me through everything, and those of you still here, and the people reading this sentence right now. I really really do! It just feels nice when people are interested in the big game I'm working on, in my art, my universe things, my music, etc., but even just at the very least, it feels nice when people see what I have to say haha.

Anyways my head is probably running on 2% battery after not sleeping for like two nights in a row, I'll maybe take a nap or something soon lol. Thank you so much for reading, stay awesome, and I hope you enjoy Dieda Royale!
