Jasmine successfully defends a wide array of lawsuits against both private and public employers, managing litigation from commencement to conclusion, including discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower, and constitutional claims in state and federal courts. Jasmine has obtained dismissals, summary judgments, and appellate victories on behalf of employers.
In addition to her litigation practice, Jasmine advises and counsels entities of various sizes regarding employee mobility issues, including trade secrets, restrictive covenants, and succession transitions for books of business. Jasmine’s employee mobility practice includes review of existing restrictive covenants for incoming representatives, preparation of agreements (e.g. non-compete, non-solicitation, confidentiality, intellectual property assignment), and enforcement litigation and arbitration. She also advises broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and other entities in the financial services industry regarding advisor and registered representative transitions, including succession issues and sales of books of business.
