Hey! I just wanted to confirm if the pre-made characters comes with all the animation you have mentioned above.
they don’t. they do have idle, walk, run, and pick-up animations, but the pickaxe animation belongs exclusively to the miner ⛏️
Most of the sprites at 15px in height and width varies, which is fine, but why are they spaced in to 79x79px cells?
I'd recommend trimming the excess white space, and separating the water effect from the swimming sprites to give people freedom and flexibility with how they apply VFX, color, layering, etc.
carrying an object would also be a really good fit for this pack.
i encourage everyone using this asset to be a smart dev. carrying an object is unnecessary because pick up animation is already included. simply use that animation for idle, walking/running while carrying an object. to keep the pack efficient, i dont provide duplicate animations
you could easily expand this to support 2d platformers by adding wall sliding and maybe a few other anims. pushing and pulling would be dope in either perspective.

I'd like to request, if possible, animations like the character entering a door with their back turned, for example, and climbing stairs. Those would be very interesting animations.

Hi! I'm using these (modified) for a WIP project and was wondering if the license theoretically allows selling stickers of the modified versions? Not sure if stickers would fall under redistribution. No worries if it's not allowed :)
You can sell the in-game stickers, but not the physical ones

Just wanted to let you know, the hands on the sample idle aseprite file don't match up with the png file. I don't know whether it's intentional or not, but in case it isn't, I figured you'd want to know.
The base white sprite featured pretty prominently in my jam game and it worked great!

Is there a way to add premade hair or outfits to the base sprite?
You must learn character customization on your game engine. I like composition method. Each body part as a gameobject, animate it on Unity animator, and in runtime just swap the sprite.
Manual method you must do frame-by-frame animation on sprite editor (Aseprite/Pixel Studio/Photoshop) which slower to make and bad in some conditions
I meant do you have hair and clothing sprite sheets that we can overlay, I've seen some creators refer to it as the "paper doll method" or something like that
I’m still considering it, not all devs have the same approach when it comes to skin swapping. And what you meant is more suitable for skeletal animation, it’s less suitable for frame-by-frame animation (it would need to be combined, as I mentioned before)
Really love this base! Seems you've put a lot of love and care into the animations.
Have you thought about adding in a staff animation to add a second magic option?

Hello, I recently purchased your asset pack. I noticed that the animations for 'shear', 'milking', and 'brush' only face one direction. Could you please provide the complete set of animations for the other directions?
The idea to only have single direction comes from Harvest Moon. I’m not sure about adding more directions, but we will see

Hey it seems there is an issue with the watering animation of the basic guy. Any chance of a fix?
Would you consider adding a shield animation? I'm experimenting with non-violent combat where the player can use a shield to block and knock-back enemies.

what are the dimensions? i am trying to animate him in godot but the idle animation moves...

so 16x16? For the each individual sprite? I was just asking coz for some reason when i try and animate him inside of Godot 4.3 the idle animations seems to go from left to right instead of staying still? its wierd
I think you was wrong when you sliced the sprite/exported it. As I said before, you must slice the sprite 80px in height and width. (But the char size is 16px!) That’s why game engines come with a lot of features (to solve this thing).
