Python Discord

Python Discord is a large community of Python developers. Our focus is on providing a space where beginners can find a hand to hold as they learn fundamental concepts about programming and master the Python programming language. More experienced users may find the community to be a great place to hone their skills as they are encouraged to help others, discuss their favorite topic with professional developers, or join one of our many regularly occurring events. If you're stuck, there's always a channel where you can ask for help. If you don't know what to do, there's usually an event coming up soon. So, why are we on Patreon? We'd like to be able to offer excellent prizes for all of our events. Prizes like t-shirts, stickers, microcontrollers that support CircuitPython, or maybe even a mechanical keyboard. We believe that this would help motivate more people to participate in our events, and we believe these events are a great way to learn how to work in teams with strangers, learn about source control, and just generally get out of your comfort zone and learn something new. While we rely on sponsorships to cover things like hosting, we will need actual hard cash if we're going to be able to pay for these prizes. But let me make this clear: We are non-profit. 100% of our earnings will be put towards improving the community in one way or another.
