Which process is AddonManager.jsm running in? My understanding is content, is that right? If so this looks like it's the case that a compromised content process would be able to forge this data to bypass the confirmation prompt.

Hmm, I am concerned about there being a lot of time between the CGSShutdownServerConnections call and the CGSSetDenyWindowServerConnections, because that allows the possibility of a new connection being opened in between.

@jcj yup, was green on try -- the ? support for Maybe is brand new. The ParamTraits deal has been around for a while, I'll have to think on how we can document it better to help avoid the static_cat<Enum> pattern.
