The Wine-Dark Sea

You wake among the wreckage with salt-cracked lips. The storm has passed. The only sound is lapping water and distant birds. The bay is flecked with jetsam; perhaps from the vessel that brought you here? You are alone. It is dusk, and you see asmall house witha warm fire. You rap on the door. A child answers; 

“How came you here, stranger?”

This is the tale you tell.

The Wine-Dark Sea is a journaling game wherein you will fill in the beautiful dangers of a mysterious archipelago and compose an epic poem that describes your character’s odyssey. Each “turn” will involve rolling some dice, drawing a path, filling in a portion of the map, and composing a couplet of your poem.
