    WordPress Origin Story

    I was looking for a CMS and after deciding between Joomla/Mambo, Drupal, and WordPress, decided on using WP in 2007. I love that I can control and customize/code my sites on a granular level, and at the same time have the ease of using drag-and-drop plugins and themes to simplify my site. Widgets are my go-to solutions, and I also customize my own themes.

    I’ve tried many other CMSes throughout the years and get drawn back to using WordPress. I’ve run WP on my personal and business sites, as well as for my clients in both the private and public sectors. Working with the government, I learned about their requirement of needing CMSes be primarily Malay language-based. This led me to being involved in Polyglots and becoming a GTE for ms_MY.
