Crocotile 3D

Crocotile 3D is a tool for creating 3d scenes with tiles. Think of it as creating 2d tilemaps with three dimensions.

Saving (over 100 tiles) and exporting is deactivated. To activate these, register a keycode at Crocotile3D.com or purchase an activation key below.

v.2.7.0 (May 13, 2026)

• Added: "Remove Tileset Spacing" option in the Tileset dropdown menu. This will open a panel that allows you to remove spacing from tilesets that you have imported, in-case you need to remove any spacing they have.
• Added: "Next Color","Previous Color","Next Line Color","Previous Line Color" actions. You can assign keybindings for these in the Edit > Buttons > Painting section. These actions allow you to select the next/previous color in the color palette in the Painting panel while the painting panel is in focus.
• Added: Billboard snap angle "Mode", can be set to "direction"(default) or "position". "Direction" will ensure all objects snap at same time due to the angle based on the camera's direction rather than it's position.
• Added: "Show/Hide All Light Entities" action. Keybinding can be set in Edit > Buttons > General, and also can be pinned. This toggles whether the light entity lines are visible without disabling the lighting.
• Added: "Display Tileset Name" option in Edit > Settings > Tilesets. This allows the name of the currently selected tileset to be displayed in the panel.
• Fixed: Dithering wasn't working with horizontal or vertical symmetry lines enabled.

Trouble-shooting: If you have issues running the program, here are some trouble-shooting information. One example with Mac, is the possibility that it is quarantining the app, preventing it from functioning as intended despite starting. Another example might be a VPN or something like that preventing initial activation. 

When activating, make sure your email works and can receive emails- a confirmation code will be sent to finish the process.
