While Timperley’s best-known musical export immutably remains Frank Sidebottom, the Mancunian suburb also provided John Peel with a signing for his Dandelion label in Stack Waddy (named for a Mad magazine character). Their two albums are gathered here with equally impressive rare tracks, outtakes and live BBC recordings.
