With the possible exception of Margo Price, no emerging country artist of the last few years has made as big an impact as Sturgill Simpson. He’s certainly a name to drop, and his credit as co-producer of 26-year-old Kentucky-based Tyler Childers’ first album will undoubtedly make Americana-watchers sit up and take notice.
