If ever a gig could be called a curate’s egg, this was it. Carmel arrived on stage at 8:15pm and, because of a club night following, announced at 8:55 that her number was up. With two encores, she was done within in an hour, but managed to run through 10 songs in that time. And albeit short and sweet, her performance was superb.
