How satisfying is it going to be<br \/>\nto have your collection of Bobbie<br \/>\nGentry albums stored on your hard<br \/>\ndrive? Do we download the liner notes<br \/>\nand artwork as well, only to print them<br \/>\noff later, effectively making our own<br \/>\nCDs? I don&rsquo;t get it. As far as I can tell,<br \/>\nwe, the music fans and collectors, not<br \/>\nonly want, but <em>need<\/em> a format that we<br \/>\ncan physically store. It&rsquo;s all part of it.<br \/>\nRunning out of shelving space,<br \/>\nalphabetising on a rainy day, justifying<br \/>\nwhy the new remastered version is<br \/>\nbetter than the copy you already<br \/>\nhave&hellip; It all contributes to the utter<br \/>\njoy of it!<\/p>\n<p>\nWho hasn&rsquo;t uttered those immortal<br \/>\nwords &lsquo;I&rsquo;m not buying anything&rsquo; only<br \/>\nto emerge three hours later with a<br \/>\nbagful of music! Give me a CD over a<br \/>\ndownloaded file any day.
