However, a few weeks ago I sent her a lyric that had her completely stumped, no matter how many further clues I provided, so reluctantly she had to admit defeat. The lyric in question is &ldquo;Me and you and Leslie&rdquo; from Groovin&rsquo; by The Young Rascals. I was still rejoicing in my victory, when a couple of days later she texted me to say, &ldquo;Rennie, you are an idiot! The line &lsquo;You and me and Leslie&rsquo; is &lsquo;You and me ENDLESSLY&rsquo;.&rdquo; I am a broken man! &ldquo;me and you and Leslie&rdquo; is such a groovy line, I would love it to be right (&ldquo;endlessly&rdquo; is boring!). Can you or your readers give a definite answer?&nbsp;<strong>Inverness,&nbsp;Rennie Pollitt<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The great Felix Cavaliere leaves an entire syllable out of &ldquo;endlessly&rdquo; if that&rsquo;s what he&rsquo;s singing. Does anyone know for sure, dear readers?
