Obviously we have all missed millions of, shall we say, bargains over the years but this one,&nbsp;I missed <i>twice<\/i>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">I remember a great record stall in South Harrow market, north-west London, and always ummed and ahhed over an LP they had called <i>The Dog That Bit People<\/i>. After a while when I made up my mind&#8230; lo and behold, it was sold !&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Some 25 years later I was a jobbing muso in Denmark when I saw it in a record shop, second-hand, for a tenner. I only had about a fiver on me so rushed back to my hotel to get the rest of the dough, and&#8230; it had sold within 10 minutes of me seeing it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">C&rsquo;est la vie&#8230;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">I remember that place in South Harrow &ndash; Sellanby. Trekked there in my teens and bought some Otis Redding US singles and a couple of odd mod 45s. However, it wasn&rsquo;t me who bought The Dog That Bit People&#8230; rated at &pound;700 in the Rare Record Price Guide 2016.<i> <\/i><b>IM&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"post-excerpt\">The one that got away?
