The Innocent Bystanders are one of the better known acts here, having had a single called Where Is Johnny, produced by John Plain of The Boys, out on Rok Records. Among these good quality demos, is the bumptious (I Wanna Be A) Mercenary, which starts with gunshots and just gets madder thereafter.<\/p>\n
Great British Heroes singer Ray Burdis went on to play Lysette Anthony\u2019s husband in Three Up Two Down <\/i>on TV. Nice work if you can get it. But their main claim to fame is the \u201cimpossibly rare\u201d single Eric Miller, recorded for Lightning in 1978 but unissued \u2013 a superior slab of Slaughter & The Dogs-style punk.<\/p>\n
North Londoners The Fenyx released their single Soldiers on Ellie Jay in 1981, produced by Nick Wade of Alien Sex Fiend, but only 500 copies were issued. Slightly ramshackle but heartfelt \u201977- style punk.<\/p>\n
