Beautiful contrasts came from the Miles-high style of Stuart Henderson\u2019s muted horn lines and the kaleidoscopic Beck\/Hammer virtuosity of Pete Billington\u2019s keys.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\">Promoting the fourth iteration of his jazz fusion band, percussive polymath, Phillips, enthralled with powerful, inventive playing packed with verve, groove, musicality and creativity, from the stratospheric opener, Nimbus, and gorgeous travelogue, Phantom Voyage, to blazing closer, Wildfire. The band were individually and collectively superb, Greg Howe dazzling with legato runs, elegant slide and wonderous whammy.
