This is a special VN. The mystery is intriguing, the peaceful moments are beautiful, and the horror is, well... horrifying. You can tell the creator put their whole heart and soul into the game without compromise. The sheer amount of sprites, backgrounds, ORIGINAL MUSIC by the way, obviously not to mention the story itself, all done by one person. Truly a labor of love and one I highly commend. Like, it's just awe inspiring. I may or may not have teared up twice during the story and have dreamed about certain scenes. Highly recommended.

This was so good T___T I fear this will leave a hole in my heart like reading Echo for the first time did. Amazing job, can't wait to read your other works and see where you go from here. Keep it up! 🩵

Holy hell, that was good, well worth the 7 hour journey.. or was it like.. 8?.. idk, a beautiful story of how things are not what they seem. SPREAD THE WORD. also curse you dev n ur cheap jumpscares with the fangleydangleys and hiphoppitydontstopppity of hallways reeeeeee lol, jk of course

Dude, I've loved the two horror Vn's so far they are chilling and so much fun. man keep it up.

5 STARS. YOU MUST READ THIS!
Awesome story, outstanding characters, fantastic plot/story. PURFECT thrills, chills and scares..... this is gonna take you on an emotional roller coaster! I hope you enjoy this VN too and
SPREAD THE WORD ;)

Really enjoyed the opening, wow. Although I do want to say the thing behind Ransom looks like trollface and I cant unsee it. Still really good so far!

Here is my review! (non spoiler section first)

I can tell this game had a ton of love put into it. At times it was a bit clichè but it was a very cohesive experience.

The art varies greatly in quality but that isnt the biggest deal as the descriptions of things are more than enough.

It's impressive that all of the art was made by the same person who made the rest, so well done! ^^

I also feel like there should be colour-coded names for dialogue boxes, at times when there are a lot of people in one scene it gets confusing

I did experience a bug where even after turning the nsfw toggle to OFF it still had the scenes play. (i'm on android if it's important)

I was quite disappointed that the horror aspect of the game got left behind after we find Ransom, the scares in the first half were absolutely my favourite part, theg were very good and many caught me off guard!

The game after finding Ransom felt very clichè, not that that's a bad thing but it's harder to take it seriously for sure.

Overall i had a good time and i definitely look forward your future works, for being one person this is extremely good :)

Wow what a stressful set of nights for Ryan in that endgame where stuff just kept on happening

(Spoiler Free Review)

Wow. Oh WOW. This was an incredibly fun, intriguing, and terrifying read I must say.

I also read TCCoR19 when that was released, and I was already impressed with your horror writing then, and I'd say just in those few months you've improved greatly! I don't really know what it is, but I became much more sucked into this one, ended up reading it until like 4 am one night because I Did Not want to stop. I'd probably say the greatest thing about it is how you implemented the horror/scares, there were so many good ones in here, truly. You used the medium of a visual novel to sell them extraordinarily well. I kept trying to look slightly away when I felt something scary was about to happen, which is something I commonly did while reading Echo, so give yourself a pat on the back for that, genuinely.

One thing I said while liveblogging this for my friends was, "I love seeing passion projects made entirely by one person like this, it's inspirational to see," and I really mean that. The effort you put into this is crazy and really awesome to see, and I'm excited to see whatever you end up doing next.

Yes, this was great, I couldn't stop as well binged the whole VN in on night..... just that good! Yeah it's 4:07 am going to try to get some sleep.

Contains spoilers

Here is the translation: "An excellent FVN work, with superb buildup and suspense in the early and middle stages; even though the later part is somewhat formulaic, the final embrace and farewell with the ransom character are truly moving."

Bug report with probably like, the mildest spoilers for anybody who wants to go in completely blind:

Just so you know I've been reading the android version, and during the part where Ryan is reading through that history book in the library archives the text from the book just, doesn't appear? Like, screen darkens and all but then just stays blank until you click through a few times, then it continues on with Ryan's thoughts on what he read.

Anyway PS: I'm also really liking it so far! Good shit

Update now that I've gotten farther in; same thing happens during the flash game portion.

So those segments use the NVL mode. It sounds like the window shows up for you but the text doesn’t? I’ll look into that.

+If any other Android users are reading this please tell me if you get the same problem.

Edit: okay, I updated the game. Hopefully it's fixed by now.

Yep! Seems to be all fixed now, thank you!

It was a very good read. Unexpectedly good and you improved a lot since your last game. What I didn't like was the random flirting and the pointless sex scenes. 8.5/10. The game started off pretty strong and it intrigued me a lot. It was one of the very few recently released VNs that did hook me from the beginning to the end while not getting boring for a single second. The banter in between the more important scenes felt very natural and good, I liked the dynamic between the two lovers and it felt very complete thanks to the good soundtrack. I assume you also drew the art for it, which felt mostly fine except for the jaws. Jaws do not open like that XD. I'd like a rerelease with the jaws fixed or a very small revamp of the sprites if possible. The other gripe I have is not your writing but your predictability. I could tell what was about to happen next almost 75% of the time but it felt funny that I was able to.  A lot of good themes are explored and I am quite happy with the final product and I can't wait to see what else you are cooking now, if you plan on releasing more. Cheers

This may seem offensive and I apologize for that in advance but was this inspired by the Fear Street Trilogy? The towns habitants saying how the town is cursed, witches, specifically the cave being a maze, and the last part where Ryan is sent back in time to watch how a queer person like him was demonized by the townsfolk, they're all very reminiscent of the trilogy and I just felt the need to comment on it. Crazy coincidence if it isn't but if it is, that'd be cool af I loved the trilogy.  Anyway I hope this isn't taken as me comparing 2 works of art it's just that I found the similarities interesting.

I thought I was the only one who have a feeling this visual novel is inspired by fear street. I mean, even though in general, the plot is completely different, to be frank, the concept of the game have a lot of similarities to the movie series. I wouldn't say this is bad or something though, I actually pretty love it.

yes!!! Glad I'm not the only one who thought that lol, and i totally agree, i love the similarities between them

Interesting. This actually wasn’t inspired by Fear Street, though I can definitely see where you’re coming from (I need to watch those lol).

Here is the real IMG_1697. Worry not, for this image will not make you go mad.

TRANSMASC REPRESENTATION!!!!!

This is, honestly, a phenomenal visual novel. There are just so many little moments in the story that help elevate the story, drop the scariest shit you'll ever see, or a goofy one-off joke. I entered the game thinking it'll be a good game like TCCR19, and came out with something far beyond my expectations.

Of course, there are still some teeny tiny flaws that do bring the experience down a bit, but the greats are just far greater than the bads.

I'll say though, this game is VERY gore heavy, especially in the second half where shit gets real. And in my personal opinion, after a while, it does kind of loses it's shock value. Maybe that's intended or something, I'm not sure.

Overall, great game, great horror, great story. Highly recommend.

I love it...🥹

Literally just finished the previous vn and now I'm finding out the same day the new vn launched?!?!! This is like a treat love your work

Okay, so, that was awesome. I had high expectations as I really liked your previous work, but this has managed to not just surpass it, but also to surprise me in many ways I didn't know a horror VN could. And well, surprise covers a lot of things... but I think it's best to describe it that way.

If you happen to read this comment, random user, and you are in for something ~fun~, please give it a try. I sure am happy to have done so!
