Who are RSC SaFE?
Aims
To promote and develop the teaching and learning of chemistry, both academic and work-based, to 11-19+ year olds in secondary schools and 6th form/FE Colleges. Also to interface with teachers and academics for the primary to secondary transition, and secondary to HE transition.

If you are a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, you are entitled to join a number of Interest Groups for free. If you would like to join the Secondary and Further Education Interest Group, and receive the latest news and updates directly, please contact the RSC Membership Department with:
- your name
- your RSC membership number
- the name of this group (Secondary and Further Education SaFE)

Secondary and Further Education Group Bursaries
The RSC Secondary and Further Education (SaFE) Group has a limited number of bursaries (of up to £200) available to support participation by RSC members in workshops, conferences, and small pedagogical projects. Preference will be given to members planning to speak or present a poster or workshop session. (Deadline – 12 June 2026)
