Scanner’s Inc creates healthier communities through street culture. We also run a world class Production House, teach entrepreneurial creative business and provide Consultancy. We produce extraordinary creative events in public and hidden spaces. We tell stories, facilitate next level experiences creating smiles and memories for all.

Scanner’s Inc was set up in 2012 by Creative Producer Kate Scanlan.

We work on high streets, in galleries, car parks, under bridges, in Museums, in parks, in theatres, in empty shops and public spaces.

Hello. My name is Kate Scanlan and I’m a Creative Producer working in the cultural sector for 25 years. I founded Scanner’s Inc so I could connect with and create community, collaborate with brilliant artists, and empower and transform through dance and the creative arts.
From The Bridge, our one-day hip hop culture festival that drew thousands to Hungerford Bridge on London’s Southbank, to Street Live in Croydon and to Popin’ Pete’s Pop Shop, at Scanner’s Inc we use dance, music and art to create vibrant spaces of transformation that disrupt the flow of daily life. Our happiest place to create is intergenerational, steeped in rich culture for all to enjoy and express themselves freely.
Culture at grass roots level is core to our work. Projects like Help Hip Hop Kids in Rwanda, and our two-year female led hip hop project in Tunisia with the British Council are key to our expression, as is sharing creative business knowledge with the next generation, supporting them as they build their future.
