Finished the whole thing to completion, only using Lenient Mode on level 99 because the final precision path killed me on an attempt. I will never be the same again. My thoughts:
First, I'm assuming the game this was inspired by was a rage game. If so, you did a fantastic job following the source material. ...Although, for a majority of the game was pretty tolerable in terms of how upset I was. It was still difficult, but I understood why I was failing and was okay with it.
...With that said, Redgust and Prism's Peak are torture. Redgust, I'm not sure what the issue was. Just made me upset for some reason. Prism's Peak, though... ...I spent more time on levels 85, 94, and 99 than on the entire rest of the game. They honestly made me want to throw my laptop out the window.
With those exceptions, everything was great gameplay-wise. It felt fair, movement was smooth when I wasn't mindlessly throwing Youmu at the wall in rage, the sword's charge rate felt a little too slow, but otherwise, also felt nice to use. I have few complaints minus the rage-induced ones.
To quote Sumireko in Artificial Dream in Arcadia: "Never again." 6/10, best Youmu Cube game I've played so far, going to take a walk to relax now. Hope the next game you choose to make goes well!
Can you make the aim relative to the mouse movivent instead of the mouse position? I find frustrating (more than what i feel about the rest of the game) trying to aim sometimes.

I feel like making the aim based on mouse movement rather than position would make the gameplay more clunky.
