Ayy what's good everyone✌ Well this is long overdue.. lol

Made a small change to my name from SirLenward to just “SirLenn”. Just be a lot easier whenever people mention me with artwork & such ≧◡≦ Same as meeting people at meetups and events. Calling me SirLenward in person is still fine tho :) The SirLenward name isn't retired or anything, SirLenn is more like a nickname than anything.. :P

This year I’ve been grinding more to post an art piece every week or so, which has been going well.. Last year I felt pretty guilty posting barely any artwork, which is absolutely on my part. It was just poor time management lol. Art pieces don't overlap animation time, since 90% of the time.. art pieces are done during breaktimes of working “regular jobs” Instead of scrolling on my phone during work, why not just idk.. draw on my ipad instead, and with that, I’ve been posting more art than ever since I was at art school many years back. Much love to the positive feedback whenever I post stuff, shits rad 🫶

Animation

Pretty ambitious with this one. I’ve been seeing a lot of the NG guys jumping into Clip studio to animate and lemme tell yea, I wish I learned sooner, it's fun to actually be able to have so much control with tools rather than just using Flash. I’m still using Flash in some cases, it will always be the best for how basic and simple it is to use. Clip studio has its flaws… like any program, but learning it is a game changer.

So juggling regular job stuff with personal animation work hasn’t changed. I’m always making time to work on animation stuff, Just takes a long time.. x_x I’m aiming to finish it by the end of the year. The project itself is about… 70ish% complete, got a lot done, but there's still a lot to do. Experimenting a lot with analog visual effects with this one. With the gecs music video I did a few years ago. That whole video was edited in sony vegas, but like a week after finishing the video. I started to learn the basics of after effects, and with that, I was hitting myself in the head.. being like… this could've looked so much cooler… should've just taken a week off of animation to learn some after effects, but now.. There's gonna be some after effects with this one. The Dorian music video I did last year had some after effects with the lighting.

And with that, that’s pretty much it for now :)
