Skinny Ships is Jennifer DeRosa & Richard Perez
Skinny Ships is the creative studio of Jennifer DeRosa and Richard Perez. Together they founded the studio in 2013, after years of working independently in design industry. Since then the duo have had the opportunity of creating work for clients large and small across a wide variety of industries all with the goal of the studio is to create work that is vibrant, fun, and refreshing. And we look forward to bringing that energy to your project.
About Richard
Richard Perez is a Mexican-American designer / illustrator originally from the Los Angeles area who fell in love with the world of design and illustration from comic books and video games. Studied at Academy of Art University and worked at branding studio Office before going out on his own.
About Jen
Jen is a designer/Illustrator that hails from the east coast, where she was immersed in the golden age of hiphop and created graffiti and bubble letter designs on clothing in high school before completing her degree in graphic design at CCSU, then moving to San Francisco she went on to graduate school at AAU in new media where she worked in-house at companies Benefit Cosmetics and West Elm.
