We humans are bound by intellectual abilities. All knowledge is far beyond power of any person. The only way to apply knowledge is to build machines able to present it human way but not limited by volume. Intellect Modeling Kit (IMK) is intended to build knowledge machines (KM) assisting experts on the steps of activity: * Observation; * Producing propositions based on knowledge; * Elimination of impossible propositions; * Selection and verification of the most appropriate propositions; * Memorizing - new knowledge item creation; * Abstraction – building objects representing typical signs of similar objects groups, data mining. KM is not intended to replace human experts, it is built to multiply abilities. Machine should not be responsible for decisions. The IMK is designed to create ready-to-use software applications using simple text files. Any human knowledge can be uploaded to KM by expert not familiar with software coding. Demos present in kit. Database Pro has been designed to manage addresses and mailings. For small charities, database fields are provided so that the details of the most recent donation of a supporter can be recorded. However, the columns (fields) can easily modified, added or deleted so that the database can be customised according to your needs. Database Pro is available in file formats for both Excel and OpenOffice. The Excel version is a VBA project and the OpenOffice version uses OOo Basic. Please note that the database does not currently work with LibreOffice due to a couple of bugs in the LibreOffice program.

The input of the e-mail has some minor format-control and auto-complete which saves time typing. Make a selection to do a CSV-export to external online mailinghost. Keep the control over your addresses that are basicly stored on your own storage and not dependent from some provider. Keep metadata for yourself: entry date, collected by, source, intrest/productgroup instead of leaving them "in the cloud" for misuse by others. Platform: Gambas2 on Linux desktop.

Supports Firebird, MySQL,Oracle,SQLite, MSSQL(both drivers),CUBRID,ODBC. CDE now supports date uniformity, param passing & BLOB handling across all the databases supported. CDE is not a replacement for PDO, in fact we may implement PDO in CDE to standardize PDO results and calls. Some PDO drivers are still regarded as EXPERIMENTAL on PHP website, so use with caution. All can be used to take a look how things can be done in Gambas, not with the idea to supply a product or a finished program. The sourcecode can easily be run from Gambas2 on Linux. Some small programs that appear here are in real use in a small business, but no warranty is given! SimpleDemo contains more complete apps that can be used to demonstrate a working Gambas program. Database is often needed. SimpleSample is more a small piece of sample code as a reminder how gambas works or how something can be done. Empty project is an example of how you can start with some things in place already; just copy the code to any new project, more templates might appear. Feedback is welcomed of course, bugs might be corrected if you create a ticket in the bug list.

Z9basic aims to be a high integrity & performance version of its predecessor bdbbasic. Language is modernized BASIC with screen and PostgreSQL database support. Targeted at Home, SOHO, Small business, Scientific or Engineering users. This project is incomplete and in limbo, due to a general lack of time. Those looking for this type of application functionality are encouraged to look at the bdbbasic project instead, which is complete and functional.
