OWASP Mantra - Free and Open Source Browser based Security Framework, is a collection of free and open source tools integrated into a web browser, which can become handy for penetration testers, web application developers, security professionals etc.

Cinemagoer is a Python package useful to retrieve and manage the data of the IMDb movie database about movies, people, characters and companies. Platform-independent, it can retrieve data from both the IMDb's web server and a local copy of the whole db.

OpenSearchServer is a powerful, enterprise-class, search engine program. Using the web user interface, the crawlers (web, file, database, etc.) and the client libraries (REST/API , Ruby, Rails, Node.js, PHP, Perl) you will be able to integrate quickly and easily advanced full-text search capabilities in your application: Full-text with basic semantic, join queries, boolean queries, facet and filter, document (PDF, Office, etc.) indexation, web scrapping,etc. OpenSearchServer runs on Windows and Linux/Unix/BSD.

OpenVRML is a cross-platform VRML and X3D browser and C++ runtime library.

WASTE is a mesh-based workgroup tool that allows for encrypted, private communication between distant parties on the internet, independant of local network organization.

Template Lite is a very fast, small HTML template engine written in PHP. The engine supports most of the Smarty2 template engine functions and filters. This template engine is no longer a Smarty Replacement. But is still similar to Smarty. The new TemplateLite3 is currently in the works and has a new parser and compiler structure along with a modified syntax. The new TemplateLite is not 100% backward compatible for the templates but, the usage from php should be. Version 2 will still receive bug fixes until v3 is production stable and out performs v2.

CFtpServer is a cross-platform C++ class which allows developers to use a simple, fast, and reliable FTP server within their program. Warning: project development stopped back in 2010 and I am not maintaining the project anymore. There are a few issues with the code, as can be seen on the tracker.

ZSRep (Zaurus Synchronization Repository) is a project whose main goal is to provide a professional cross-platform solution for synchronizing one's Sharp Zaurus with any Desktop PIM software on the Linux or Mac OS X operating system.

libmathml is a library that allows MathML documents to be rendered and edited in any GUI and with any XML parser.

The project is based on Qt framework. It wraps the capabilities related to networking in simple to use, service based server and client configurations. The library starts with the tcp protocol as it is implemented in the QtNetwork module[1] and creates two top level managing structures: a client and a server. Both support multiple connections that may or may not be encrypted. On top of this basic framework we implement the service support. Any server may host any number of services that are identified by their names in the client-server connection. The source contains simple igu8i based implementations for both a client and a server.
