Open Source Java Software for Linux

kissme is a free (GPLed) Java Virtual Machine. It is being developed on GNU/Linux and can run console java applications. kissme is to be used with the GNU Classpath java class library. kissme also provides support for orthogonally persistent java.

Included is a design of that architecture, a Java-based simulator, an implementation (without vector instructions) designed as a Logisim circuit (http://ozark.hendrix.edu/~burch/logisim/), and more. The name "Code Red" comes from our team name, the Red Team. Since the competition dictated a small team size, our professor split the class and gave each group a color. We liked the name "Code Red" and chose it to represent our team and school's color (UMass' official color is Maroon.) Only later did we realize that "Code Red" was the name of an unrelated computer worm from 2001.

Course Compiler Design I at the ETH Zuerich (Switzerland). The course program is to write a simple compiler for educational language J01 (similar to Java, with restrictions) for a target platform (either DLX, SPARC or x86).

LightningPigeon is an e-mail client designed to be efficient and non-bloated. The primary aim being of an educational value to the developers and the secondary aim of providing a client which works at top efficiency.

This project collects the classical "Towers of Hanoi" problem in many programming languages, including lesser known and/or esoteric ones.

This project aims to provide an eclipse 3.0 extension to support z80 development for ti calculators and maybe more platforms in the future.
