Open Source Unix Shell Software Testing Tools for BSD

Linux Test Project (LTP) is a joint project started by SGI, OSDL and Bull developed and maintained by SUSE, Red Hat, Fujitsu, IBM, Cisco, Oracle and others. The project goal is to deliver tests to the open source community that validate reliability, robustness, and stability of the Linux Kernel. The testing suites contain a collection of tools for testing the Linux kernel and related features. Our goal is to improve the Linux kernel and system libraries by bringing test automation.

The Open POSIX Test Suite is a test suite for POSIX 2001 APIs, not tied to specific implementations. It provides conformance, functional, and stress testing. Initial focus is on Threads, Clocks & Timers, Signals, Message Queues, and Semaphores.

IPv6 CARE, "IPv6 Compliant Automatic Runtime Environment", provides an environment where applications instantly become IPv6-compliant ('patch' mode, see RFC6535). It can also generate a diagnosis about the IPv6 compliance of an application ('check' mode). It uses an LD_PRELOAD-based library injection technique.

Cbench is intended as a relatively straightforward toolbox of tests, benchmarks, applications, utilities, and framework to hold them together with the goal to facilitate scalable testing, benchmarking, and analysis of a Linux parallel compute cluster.

Open Source Application Server Appliance based on Open Source GlassFish

A program to draw (and save the results to files) a diagramm that shows the execution time of a programm, which does some floating point calculations, in dependency of the number of used threads. It saves the result as a gnuplot file and a CSV file.

VSPMS is the "Very Simple Project Management System", which is a cross-platform set of shell tools and aliases to establish and share project environment variables, aliases, documentation, and setup procedures.

The goal of this project is to develop a framework to test and measure the performance of IEEE 802.11 based devices. Currently we aims to address the issues related to protocol conformance testing for a device.
