Testing images for scientific purposes
The TESTIMAGES archive is a huge and free collection of sample images designed for analysis and quality assessment of different kinds of displays and image processing techniques. The archive includes more than 2 million images originally acquired and divided in three different categories: SAMPLING and SAMPLING_PATTERNS (aimed at testing resampling algorithms), COLOR (aimed at testing color rendering on different displays) and PATTERNS (aimed at testing the rendering of standard geometrical patterns). Card generator for the russian L1-3/L3-3 tube tester. WARNING: The software is still in alpha state, so there are definitely some bugs. If you want to use the created cards for real tests, check them manually with EXTREME care first .. else damage or destruction of your tester can easily occur. ESPECIALLY check if multiple conflicting functions are assigned to the same line (by looking on the universal card), which would lead to shorts. New release! Most of the old bugs should (still, no guarantees) be fixed by now and lots of functionality added. I created a good amount of cards for myself and they were all fine, so I deceided to make a public alpha release again. I also added a short manual (only German by now, translation soon follows) including a few examples. If anything gets wrong, please report to me. I need your reports to fix bugs. You can help move this to beta ;). -

A collection of lecture notes and accompanying code on micromechanics
The collection MICROMECHANICS (micromechanics.zip) includes: (1) lecture notes (microbook.pdf) on the analysis of heterogeneous materials and homogenization, and (2) source codes (microcode.tar.bz2) that accompany the computational exercises in Part II of the notes. Instructions on using the codes are given in the README file of each exercise. Further instructions can be found in the file microcode.tar.bz2. The MATLAB codes are used for visualization, evaluating analytical bounds and estimates as well as in the generation of digital and particulate microstructures. The Fortran codes are based on the finite element method in linear and nonlinear settings, the latter capable of finite deformations with damage. The project offers support for NTC thermistor calculations. The Steinhart-Hart equation is a mathematical model for these thermistors. Software to calculate the coefficients based on temp-resistance tables and functions allowing conversion are provided.

Fortran codes for SCNURS method - Side Cut Non-Uniform Residual Stress
SCNURS - Side Cut Non-Uniform Residual Stress measurement method for plates, - is a destructive RS measurement method developed in Moscow, Russia and later in Bristol, UK. The method is specifically designed for the measurement of highly non-uniform RS fields, including discontinuities, in plates. This project collects all codes which implement forward and inverse solution to the RS problem. The codes are in modern Fortran with OpenMP. The codes are distributed under 2-clause BSD license. The code uses Lapack (http://netlib.org/lapack), Slatec (http://www.netlib.org/slatec) and CMLIB (http://gams.nist.gov/cgi-bin/serve.cgi/Package/CMLIB) libraries. Soundcard Digital Voltmeter
Measures analog DC signals with the PC soundcard.
With this software and a simple external hardware, the sound card input of a PC can be used to measure stationary or slowly changing analog signals (e.g. voltages). The hardware converts the input signal into a voltage proportional frequency. The software measures the frequency via the sound card and calculates the corresponding input signal level which is displayed numerically and in a “scope-like” view. -

Set Source Address, Destination address - Port Packet Size Stream Bandwidth And press start Command Line interface available java -jar JPacketGenerator.jar srcAddress srcPort dstAddress dstPort bitRate_bps All parameters are mandatory and with parameters the generator require no GUI or windows manager to work. If The project will be useful I'll post some more detail or helps about the usage. -
