Copying multiple duplicates in a row as independent clips!

    I have a suggestion for Ditto that will help me, and potentially a lot more people, get our work done much quicker than it does right now!

    I love the "Allow duplicates" option so much! It sets Ditto apart from other clipboard managers. BUT!

    I have an issue when I'm copying numbers and ocassionally it happens that I need 2 same numbers copied in a row in a copy session that has over 100 clips that I afterwards copy all at once, where copying order is very important!
    So can you please add an option to save 2 (or more for that matter) same clips in a row as 2(or more) independent clips instead of just ignoring every clip that is a duplicate of that last saved clip. I hope you are able to understand me and my problem! Let me know if you still need more information about it!

    Looking forward to an answer from some of you who are able to help me out! You would be a life saver!
    Thank you!

    Bump, is it possible to implement this feature? Any answer from higher-ups would be appreciated ^^

    So you want to allow duplicates if they are back to back copies. But not allow them if it was copied 10 copies ago (anything other than the last copy), correct?

    I would appreciate if all copies are allowed, right now back to back "same copies" are not allowed at all. For example I need to copy numbers 1 2 5 4 5 8 7 8 5 4 4 4 5

    Even if I click "Allow duplicates" it won't copy these three "fours", it will only copy one :(

    All I am saying is consider every "Ctrl + C" action as an independent clip,no matter what is being copied ( be it 100 same numbers or 1)

    I also need this feature. Please allow duplicate items copied to appear as new entries. This way it will be possible to paste multiple duplicate items in the order they were copied.

    @sabrogden

    I would also like to thank you for adding this new feature, which makes this tool complete from my point of view. Your great work and support are highly appreciated.

    Hello dear Ditto ppl. Love this piece of software and it's just so useful. Best one out there. Just 1 small request in relation to this thread.

    Anyone else experiencing on latest ditto v3.24.246.0 that setting False to "Allow duplicates" actually does not work and I end up indeed having duplicates despite that False ... ofc I've closed and reopen Ditto and my whole PC for that sake. Anyone?

    I've played around with False and True and closed and reopened Ditto. So far no effect.
