This problem happens because mjpg-streamer cannot find the web files needed to show the video. The webcam is working, but the folder you gave (-w ./) does not contain the required HTML files, so the browser shows 404 Not Found. You need to set the correct www folder path that comes with mjpg-streamer, for example: -o "output_http.so -p 8080 -w /usr/local/www" I had the same problem while working on my blog website https://nadakacheristatus.com . I am also looking for this function. It should be possible to provide lossfree rotation via jpeglib and a patch of the input_uvc plugin. But my C programming knowledge is not sufficient. Does anyone have a hint how th patch could look like?

I have been, successfully, using a generic endoscope with OctoPrint as a webcam. The quality sucked, so I decided to try a new camera. I saw three versions of the Creative Live! cam in the wiki here - Webcams known to work · foosel/OctoPrint Wiki · GitHub - so I bought a cheap Creative Live! Netbook cam from Amazon. After a bit of fiddling, I am finally able to access the camera through OctoPrint, but the image flickers kind of like a scrambled cable channel back in the old days of converter boxes....

Hello eveybody ! I've got a tricky problem on my RPI3 and its raspicam. The RPI3 in under Ubuntu 16.04.2 but the problem appears also with Raspban Pixel last version. I've installed mjpg-streamer with its patch. I've defined the port 10088 to display the image of the raspicam on a web page. On my router, I've redirected this port to the local IP of my RPI3's. The display of the raspicam's image is done through the web page <IP RPI3="">:10088/index.html. The streaming page is <IP RPI3="">:10088/stream.html....
