Third-party libraries

wxPackJPG uses the following two third-party libraries:

• packJPGlib, the library doing the actual work of compressing JPEG image files (see http://www.elektronik.htw-aalen.de/packjpg/)
• wxWidgets, a multiplatform GUI framework (see http://www.wxwidgets.org)

Development information

wxPackJPG is being built with the following tools:

• CMake (http://www.cmake.org/), a multiplatform make tool
• Unicode NSIS (http://www.scratchpaper.com/) for the Setups on Windows
• wxFormBuilder (http://wxformbuilder.org/) for designing the user interface
• MinGW32 and MinGW64 (http://www.mingw.org/ and http://mingw-w64.sourceforge.net/) for compilation on Windows
• Visual Studio 2010 for compilation of the Windows Explorer shell extension
• GCC on other platforms
