It is based on linux, I don't know why it isn't clear in the documentation of the project. I don't see how is it based on block-chain, to me, seems that only the payment method that it uses is based on block-chain, other than that it seems like another linux. I like to see another company investing on linux, but, if it is centralized and didn't tell me that I was getting a linux with a face lift, I doubt it will be more private than tails, for exemple, but I see that it is focused in the usability, let's see where it goes.

Zero instructions, zero help options, zero files run when mounted from Windows or Linux, nothing works from boot USB; I need a rating below 1. What kind of beta has no instructions, help, or bug reporting options.

As a long-time Windows user, I have become increasingly concerned about the major OS players: Apple, Microsoft and Google. They all seem to want to monetize every aspect of your computer use through data gathering about you and your activities. So I have been looking for an alternative. I've sampled many systems, and I've settled on LibertyOS as the best for my purposes. The rolling release is one of the best features, and it amazes me as a Windows user that one virtually NEVER has to reboot the computer after an update, unlike Windows, MacOS or IOS. The updates are frequent but trouble-free to install, and the system is robust and stable. I am closer now to leaving the Windows user base and migrating all my computers to LibertyOS than at any time in the past. I may have to keep a Windows PC around to support my wife, but my computing can be done on LibertyOs. I am currently dual-booting to Windows 10 and LibertyOS on most of my PC's and will conduct more and more of my work on LibertyOS in the future.

I just installed Libertyos on my laptop from 2004 (512 MB RAM!) and it runs perfectly smooth on it + looks fantastic. That things is now even more responsive than my current PC with Windows10! I really think Libertyos could dominite the <200 Dollar pc market with such a performance.

The best Linix distro I ever saw. Simple, fast, friendly.
