MX Linux is a cooperative venture between the antiX and MX Linux communities. It is a family of operating systems that are designed to combine elegant and efficient desktops with high stability and solid performance. MX’s graphical tools provide an easy way to do a wide variety of tasks, while the Live USB and snapshot tools inherited from antiX add impressive portability and remastering capabilities. Extensive support is available through videos, documentation and a very friendly Forum.

  • When compared to the likes of Deepin 25, POP! OS, and to a lesser extent SparkyLinux this is a mediocre attempt and GPU drivers, at least on my laptop hardware (HD520) aren't the most recent either. The OS itself also is sluggish, not just this beta but 23.6 as well, particularly compared to Deepin 25. I suppose thats what you get though with something that has a lot of things "plugged in" rather than fully integrated seamlessly. A shame really, a lot of distros have the potential to be great, MX included, but almost all of them feel like they are at odds being pulled in different directions by the devs rather than a cohesive, concerted attempt at creating something thats a true contender to Windows. 2.5/5.
  • Another disappointment. As usual MX will not run on Dell hardware. I was hoping this new version would work but, just a blank screen after the splash. For years MX was my go to OS. But since early '24 it's been dead in the water. It was a great OS until they became selective about what hardware they would allow there OS to run on. Linux Mint runs fine on my dell AIO as do other distros including BSD. I have tried the support forum with little to no responses. It will run just fine on my old ThinkPad. It's ashame to see such a great distro become so picky about what hardware they will support.
  • Ved brug af multi load har MX alt der skal bruges.
  • es muy estable facil de instalar y usar
  • Sehr gut gemachtes Betriebssystem
