Backup Android Phone - Droid Transfer is a Windows application which works alongside a free Transfer Companion app for Android, allowing you to transfer messages, call history, photos, music and other media from your Android Phone to your PC via a USB cable or over your local WiFi network. Android SMS Transfer - Droid Transfer will display and backup all messages in your default messaging app, e.g., Samsung Messages, Google's Messages app, etc. Your messages can be saved in a variety of file formats, including PDF, HTML or Text. Droid Transfer also saves any photos, emojis and videos in your messages, as well as dates and times they were received.

    "Became very slow then suddenly stopped working"

    Pros: I loved Droid Transfer when I first bought it. It worked very well. I could easily import and print text, contacts, and photos.

    Cons: Now it has completely stopped working and they have changed the programs format to something that cant be opened to install. So my purchase his no longer working and there no customer support to assist. In my opinion, they completely destroyed the app!

    Overall: It became more and more difficult to update. Then, suddenly went from great to useless. Waste of money!

    Hi, the latest version of Droid Transfer 2 is available for Windows 10 and 11 only. If you are using an older version of Windows, you can still install an older version of Droid Transfer 1.     "Great solution for text message and photo transfer"

    Pros: I've been using Droid Transfer for a couple of years to export text messages from my Samsung Galaxy S22 to PDF files. The exported PDFs look just like they do on my phone, which makes me very happy.

    Installing and connecting my phone to my PC over WiFi was easy – I just scanned a QR code and the connection was instantly established.

    I also use it regularly to transfer photos from my phone to my PC without any issues. I like how it detects newly taken photos on my phone and just exports those quickly.

    Cons: The free version is limited to saving 5 messages and 100 photos. Upgrading to the full version has been worth it for me, as I've been using the same license for over 2 years now.

    Overall: I would highly recommend it, Droid Transfer has simplified the process of exporting messages and photos from my phone to my PC.

    "Freeware Ain't Free"

    Pros: Slick advertising.

    Cons: I downloaded the software (trial version) to my PC, installed the app on my phone, and prepared to test the software to see if I wanted to purchase it. All of their advertising says they have a free version. The software won't do anything without an "activation code" which I have to purchase.

    So I can't review the software's features, because it won't do anything without payment.

    If you're going to advertise a free version, maybe you should actually have a free version?

    Overall: There hasn't been an experience. It won't do anything.
