You can create ‘Locker(s)’ which are protected by AES 256-bit encryption. You need not encrypt or decrypt files when accessing; simply copy them to Locker and voila! They are encrypted on the fly. Folder Lock offers a 2-way encryption and backup method, letting you backup your encrypted ‘Lockers’ online.

    "Awful customer service"

    Pros: When product works it works well. Folder Lock has a timeout option to relock if PC not used for a certain period of time

    Cons: No customer support when it doesn't work.
    Does not auto lock when PC shut down. You have to manually go back into software to do it.

    Overall: Been a customer for years but won't be using this company any more. Found folder guard top be a better product for my needs

    Cons: Desktop version only for Windows platform.
    Dated UI - looks like a Windows XP software.

    Overall: Folder Lock is a great feature packed security tool. It works as an encryption tool, backup tool, file shredder, password storage and more. It is even available on mobile devices - Android & iOS.
