"Marketing hire from LatAm drove measurable growth to our company."

    Posted 2026-01-11

Pros: We used LatHire to hire a growth marketer who owned our demand-gen strategy: funnel audits, paid media set-up, landing page optimization, and email sequences. They produced a rigorous experiment plan, ran A/B tests, and improved conversion rates within the first 60 days. Their analytics skills (GA4 event tracking + pragmatic SQL dashboards) gave us clear north-star metrics. Candidate brought both strategy and hands-on execution, copy, segmentation, and campaign ops.

Cons: Coordinating start dates for three hires required a little extra planning; a shared onboarding calendar and checklist fixed most friction.

Overall: This marketing hire significantly improved our CAC and lead quality in a short period. Lathire’s vetting produced candidates comfortable with growth experimentation and data-driven decision-making. If you need a marketer who can run the playbook and iterate quickly, LatHire is a reliable place to source capable talent from Latin America.

    "Unprofessional and disorganized "

    Posted 2025-10-10

Pros: None observed — the onboarding process never reached completion due to poor communication and lack of organization.

Cons: No communication or guidance before, during, or after the interview
    • No company representative present for the candidate interview
    • Required repeated prompting for basic follow-up and scheduling
    • Representative used a free Zoom account for official meetings
    • Call was cut short and later dropped
    • Unprofessional and immature communication throughout the process

Overall: There was no communication or support around LatHire’s process for onboarding new clients once a match was selected. We were surprised to find ourselves alone in the interview with the virtual assistant—no one from LatHire reached out to let us know that no company representative would attend or to explain what to do afterward.

There was no contact before or after the interview unless we initiated it. We had to repeatedly prompt them just to understand how their process worked. When the representative eventually called, they said they’d had “a stressful day,” which I found unprofessional and immature.

After chasing replies by email, I finally scheduled a call with one of their representatives several hours after the interview, but even that process was disorganized—I never received an email notification for the meeting, had to ask for the invite, and when they finally sent a Zoom link 45 minutes later, it came with no time attached. I had to prompt them again for the time, which took another 45 minutes.

To make matters worse, the call was conducted through a free Zoom account, which limited the meeting time and cut off mid-conversation—further reinforcing the lack of professionalism.

I tried to clarify the breakdown in communication, but I was accused of “verbal harassment”. There was nothing harassing about the discussion—I was simply trying to understand what had gone wrong and how their process was supposed to work.

Overall, LatHire’s handling of the client experience felt unsupported, defensive, and deeply unprofessional. For a company that promotes itself as providing reliable, well-managed virtual assistants, the complete absence of communication, accountability, and maturity was disappointing.

Hi Sheri, thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we were unable to continue working with you due to verbal harassment of our team members. We do not tolerate abuse towards our staff, which is why we denied service to you even when you tried to insist on moving forward with the hire. The main issue you raised – that a member of our team did not attend the interviews you had scheduled – is consistent with our policies. It is not standard practice in the industry to attend interviews between clients and candidates as this can impede the interview process. Furthermore, all of our communications with your team followed our typical timeline, which was covered in the consultation call that you chose not to attend. Your account manager also chose to work outside of her usual work hours to answer your questions and concerns. Regards, The LatHire Team
