Cons: This company is a fraud machine. I cancelled my subscription, yet they kept charging me illegally. Their so-called “customer service” hides behind faceless, unsigned emails — not even the first reply carried a name.

Overall: Every message since has been random, copy-pasted garbage from a script, never an actual solution. I’ve reported them to my card provider, and the police are already investigating them for fraud.

Pros: The resume part was fine. It was very nice 2 upgrade my resume. I liked the resume options, format, etc.

Cons: I thought I was upgrading my resume for a small fee that I paid $2.95 with my debit card. I was not aware that I was doing a subscription. I would never do a RESUME SUBSCRIPTION. That does not make any sense. They charged me $25.95.

Overall: Would not do it. beware - I did not see anything about a subscription, I saw a trial for $2.95 and that was the part that was deceiving I did not understand I was suppose to cancel a trial.

Overall: Hello, I signed up for a 7-day subscription, but after 6 days, I attempted to cancel it. Unfortunately, the cancellation process was not straightforward. Despite clicking on the cancellation option multiple times through various windows, the subscription was not successfully terminated. As a result, I was charged for an additional month of subscription that I did not intend to continue. It appears that the company may intentionally complicate the cancellation process to discourage users from unsubscribing. Please exercise caution when dealing with such practices to avoid falling victim to potential scams

They debited funds for a full premium subscription without informing me, without warning, and prior confirmation of payment. They simply debited the funds and refused to return them. At best, support responds in a day (if at all), but they can't help. I do not recommend the service, do not pay anything here so that your bank card data does not get to them. Be careful.

Upon signing up, I believed I would have a full 7 days to evaluate the service at the advertised rate of USD 2.95. However, I found the service to be of limited utility and used it only on the first day.

To my astonishment, without any prior notice, reminder, or warning, I received a notification from my bank that my card had been charged for a full monthly subscription by resume.io. This abrupt action left me feeling blindsided and deeply dissatisfied.

In response, I promptly canceled my account to prevent any further unauthorized charges. Subsequently, I contacted resume.io's support team to request a refund, explaining that I had used the service for just one day, and that was within the first day of the monthly cycle.

Regrettably, it took resume.io's support team a full four days to respond to my urgent complaint. To add insult to injury, their reply informed me that they would not be willing to process a refund, despite the fact that I had terminated my account within the first day of the monthly billing cycle.

This experience leaves me with no choice but to conclude that resume.io engages in deceptive practices. I strongly caution others against falling for their 7-day trial offer, which ultimately results in an irrevocable monthly subscription charge. It is abundantly clear that this company prioritizes profits over integrity and customer satisfaction.

Overall: I would strongly advise against considering resume.io for any of your resume-building needs. Their misleading practices and lack of accountability are indicative of a business that cannot be trusted.

I was charged 7 days early for their subscription. I had intended on canceling (which is when I found out the charge had already been processed). I contacted the company immediately, and was told that they would put in my issue and get a refund processed.
I then received an email denying my request saying my account was older than 7 days and no refund would be issued. I contacted the customer service again, explained again and was told that they would escalate my request as it was obviously a mistake.
Nope, no response from the company.
Called a third time, spoke to another representative and was told the same thing.
I then emailed them along with screenshots of my bank invoices and proof of cancellation. No response.
I’ll be contacting my bank to report/block any further charges from them and see if they can refund the fee and pursue action against the company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
