2025 was… truly a bizarre year for me, both for good, and bad. I passed my college courses (including my language course) but of course that came with stress, sometimes I was mentally doing pretty good, other times I wasn’t doing too hot, I went back to my old job and got paid, but I want to go to a different one next summer. I improved my art skills and took a drawing class at uni but it seems like I’m going to slow with that improvement. I got burnt out from Letterboxd and not logging that much but that’s probably not that deep. The world sucks sometimes but I learned not to be a doomer and there’s still plenty of stuff to be optimistic about. I decided to be more active in real life during the second half of the year and join some clubs at uni. I’m old enough to get drunk now (oh god lol). If you somehow couldn’t tell, this year was a mixed bag for me, a lot of good and a lot of bad, but if there’s one thing for sure that was in that lot of good, it was my Newgrounds this year. I decided to get more into the community rather than just posting my art and man my feelings on Newgrounds as a platform improved this year because of that, joining new collabs, interacting with people in the forums more, learning art improvement tips, etc. I’m really happy with how my Newgrounds turned out this year. As for 2026, phew, do I have a big one coming up. I know I say that about how every year upcoming is gonna be big for me but oh boy is this one gonna kick in. I’m doing animation and illustration fundamentals classes at uni during the Fall 2026 semester, the stuff I actually came for college for, so yeah, kind of a big deal. But what about my personal and online life? I got a new art tablet but because android doesn’t like procreate, I’m gonna have to transfer to Clip Studio Paint, I’m nervous about how well my art will transfer to there but I’m also excited. Lastly, of course I gotta say thank you to you guys, whenever it’s collabing together, hanging out, making me feel better, helping me improve both my art and me as a person, you guys mean a lot to me.
