I remember the game was taken off stores due to drama with the publisher. It's back now, and seems to be owned by the dev fully. Am I understanding this correct? What's the situation for this game and it's development now?

I cannot play games with a keyboard. Even the most basic modern PC games have the ability to use a controller. If the devs are too incompetent to add controller settings, they shouldn't be designing games. If I cannot use a controller, I'm getting a refund. The controls are horrible even by keyboard standards too. Even navigating the menu was annoying, with "Select" and "Go Back" mapped to specific buttons. Spacebar and Enter should automatically be mapped as select buttons. Backspace should go back. UPD...
