I had really high hopes for this game. Although it is 5 years old the graphics are good and it captures the atmosphere of a ski resort nicely. The cableways look great and their operating procedures are very in depth.

Unfortunately thats where the good stuff ends. 5 years after release the game is a bug ridden mess and everything except the scenery and the cableways is half baked.

The financial/economic model is simplistic and doesn't break down some items enough for reasonable decisions to be made. You can buy restaurants but apart from opening or closing them you have no control over their running. The snow groomers look good but driving up and down pistes flattening snow gets tedious fast.

The best way to make money (at least in early game) is the run delivery missions where you simply cart something from one place to another. So if you want a delivery driver simulator this is the one for you. This mini game is completely unconnected with the rest of the game except to provide funding.

And the bugs. Is your restaurant making money? Lucky you, tomorrow you might find it frozen all day with zero figures. Sometimes a similar thing will happen with cableways, although it's difficult to tell if that is due to the convoluted start up procedures. On one map, every time I load from a save I get charged money and told that a cableway I don't even own is being opened at my expense.

Margins are so low these types bugs are pretty much game destroying (unless you like being a delivery driver instead). There has been little to no effort on the part of the developers to address the bugs, check out the Steam forum and you will notice this.

The development team plans a 3rd iteration of this game in winter 26/27. I really hope they have learnt from their failures on this one because it's an idea that deserves to work.
