I am playing my first game as the Free Stars, which I guess has kind of a rough start with only 2 planets. I quickly grabbed 3 neutral planets, but the Southern Principality keeps coming after me. I play the battles smart tactically and usually lose from 0-2 units per fight, while wiping out the enemy fleet or fleets. Why is the AI coddled to the point having flat out entire access to tech trees from the first round? Every AI I have encountered is rolling out +3 Chimera and Champions by month 2. And consistently getting the BEST rolls in every encounter? Why even bother with my input if I miss 8 shots but they land 8 every time? And I mean EVERY time this happens.
