Got this for cheap and played this coop with my brother and, while it had a few issues, we ended up having a lot of fun. Really good combat system, the crowd control stuff (take out multiple enemies with one attack to guarantee free food) is a really cool addition to the combat too. Lots of smart ideas in the gameplay that make this game more fun to play than usual.

Best beat em up I have played. I come from the 80s and have play a lot of these types of games. The only thing i would change it make it up to 3 or 4 players. Fighting mechanics, the hits, everything, feels wonderful. Add on to this, a ton of fighters to play as and unlock. Amazing game.

Warning, after playing this, other beat em ups will seem cheap by comparison. For instance, GI Joe wrath of Cobra felt terrible. As does the new double dragon game, and other beat em ups on steam. TMNT Shredders revenge and Marvel Cosmic invasion are the next best things, but this is the crown holder for me by far.
