This game nearly made me cry. Please prepare yourself for hours of minigame hell. Otherwise, the story was fun and interesting.

I DO NOT HATE THIS GAME WHATSOEVER. almost everything about this fangame is perfection. It uses the sonic characters in a fun new way, allows for the insertion of a sonic OC into conversations with canon sonic characters somehow without feeling cringy, the spritework is genuinely some of THE best art ive ever seen. The story is very fun, and my only gripe is a lack of sonic, but for the story to work that has to be. there is 1000% not a lack of anyone else though. everyone, even less mainstream characters get their spotlight. However. it seems the creators didnt think that their incredible story and great art wasnt enough. Unfortunately, am effort to give the game more actual gameplay, they inadvertantly concocted a formula for legitamitly some of the worst gameplay of any game i have played. the bad gameplay comes exclusively from the THINK! segments. the think segments consist of autorunners where the player must control sonic avoiding obstacles and collecting a certain number of rings. in practice it seems mid, but an awkward camera angle, and very slow turning (or more like lane changing?) as well as bad obstacles feel like a shoe in to make the game more content filled that just makes it abysmal to play. I want to stress that this is an amazing game, and its sad to see a great visual novel dragged down. its just not worth going through the hassle of the think segments, and i reccomend watching a longplay (such as penny snapcubes) instead to experience this masterpiece without its only blemish.
